Less Co2 emissions

We place sustainable development at the heart of our strategy. More energy, less emissions: this is the double challenge we have to face alongside our stakeholders to contribute to the sustainable development of the planet and to face climate challenges.

Recycling

We contribute to the reduction of energy consumption, up to 12% depending on the installation, by the manufacture of our thermal insulation products intended to equip the district network of residential heating, the heating network of condominiums, industrial sites, public institutions, etc.

Respect for the Other

Respect for others is at the heart of our collective Ethics, of our way of making Exemplary life, because it is first and foremost the Listening on the other.

Respect for others goes hand in hand with honesty, unfailing integrity and therefore the rejection of all forms of corruption and fraud. It also means honouring the contracts we sign.

Respect for others is respect for the environment and health, which is part of our strategy for responsible and sustainable development. Respect for the Other means putting people into our collective project, valuing diversity and being attentive to the quality of social dialogue within the company.

Respect for human rights is a collective and individual requirement on which we do not compromise in our operations.

We are taking steps to ensure that working conditions are decent, not only on our sites, but also on those of our at-risk suppliers - including the ban on forced labour and child labour, non-discrimination and access to trade unions, as well as the guarantee of being able to report to human resources any possible malfunction.

Protecting health, safety and security

Security is our top priority. Anyone who works for or with us has an important role to play in making OPERTEX a safer company. We expect our employees to follow the safety rules and regulations of their position, to avoid dangerous situations and to respect their colleagues and the communities in which we operate.

Security is the basis of the responsibility pact of an industrial company, it is also the basis of its sustainability. A company that is not safe, that is not reliable, is not a sustainable company. This means that there is no compromise with security. It cannot be a question of costs, because it is a value that is respected beyond all.

Security is a daily battle, conducted with humility and vigilance. We must never let our guard down. There is no fatality, every accident, however minor, can be avoided. We know and enforce all safety rules, at any level and with the utmost discipline. Each of us has a personal responsibility and the authority to intervene in case of non-compliance with these rules or perception of a risk situation.

In choosing our industrial and commercial partners, we give priority to their ability to apply a policy equivalent to ours.

Integrity – Fraud and Corruption

We advocate zero tolerance for fraud in all its forms, particularly corruption, influence peddling, and breaches of competition law.

Recycling

Our company does not tolerate any form of corruption or influence peddling, which can be defined as follows:

  • Promising or granting any payment or benefit of any kind to a public official, a private person or a company, directly or indirectly (through a third party or an intermediary), when this is illegal, for the purpose he/she accomplishes, refrains from doing, facilitates, delays or accelerates an act of his/her office, or he/she misuses his/her influence to obtain a favourable decision or any advantage from a public authority
  • Solicit, accept or receive payment or benefit of any kind for the purpose of performing, not performing, facilitating, delaying or expediting any act within the scope of their duties

Corruption and influence peddling, such as infringements of competition law, expose individuals and subcontractors to severe disciplinary, civil and criminal sanctions, and in accordance with applicable laws, regardless of the country in which the fraudulent acts took place. Each employee of the group is invited to ensure, at all times, that the rules of the OPERTEX group are respected. The OPERTEX Group’s alerting system allows everyone to report any situation or conduct that may be contrary to the fundamental principles of good conduct.
